Respecting our parents is a great duty in Islam. Our parents give us love, care and everything we need. When we were small, they worked hard to make us happy. Now it is our turn to be kind to them. I respect my parents by listening to them and speaking to them politely. I help my mother at home, and I go shopping with my father. Every morning, I kiss their heads and ask them how they are. I always pray for them, and I want them to be pleased with me.

Our parents are one of the greatest blessings that Allah has given us. They took care of us when we were small and weak, and they still work hard to give us a good life. That is why being kind to our parents is one of the most important values in Islam. In the Holy Quran, Allah mentions kindness to parents right after His command to worship Him alone. He even tells us not to say a small word of anger to them, like "uff".

There are many ways to show respect to our parents. We should listen to them carefully, obey them in good things and speak to them in a soft voice. We should never shout at them or make them sad, even when we disagree with them. In our culture, many children kiss their parents' heads and hands to show love and respect. When a man asked the Prophet, peace be upon him, who deserved his good treatment the most, he answered, "Your mother" three times, and then "Your father".

I try to do this every day. Every morning, I greet my parents and ask them if they need anything. I help my mother carry the shopping bags, and I help my father wash the car on weekends. When I stay late at school, I call them so they do not worry about me. After every prayer, I pray for them with the words of the Quran: "My Lord, have mercy on them as they raised me when I was small."

In conclusion, respecting our parents is both a duty and a blessing. It fills our homes with love and helps us earn the pleasure of Allah. Our parents will not stay young forever, so we must take care of them as they took care of us. I hope I will always be a good son to my mother and father.

  • لا توجد كلمة إنجليزية واحدة تساوي «البر»، فاستخدم عبارات مثل respecting parents أو being kind to parents أو honoring parents، وكلها صحيحة.
We should listen to them. وWe must take care of them.
My Lord, have mercy on them as they raised me when I was small.
I help my father wash the car.
