ملاحظات مهمة للمتعلم العربي
عكس drop off بمعنى «يُوصل» هو pick up بمعنى «يأخذ شخصاً من مكان»: I'll drop you off at nine and pick you up at two. ومنها الاسم drop-off كما في drop-off area أي «منطقة إنزال الركاب» في المطارات والمدارس.

في العربية نقول «أوصلك»، لكن deliver تُستخدم للطرود والطلبات لا للأشخاص؛ فنقول drop you off أو take you to.
