ملاحظات مهمة للمتعلم العربي
عكس get on هو get off: نقول get on the bus عندما نركب، وget off the bus عندما ننزل. لكن مع السيارة وسيارة الأجرة نقول get out of the car وليس get off the car.

لا نترجم «نزلتُ من الحافلة» حرفياً بـwent down from؛ فالنزول من الحافلة والقطار والطائرة يكون بـget off.
